Corals New Casino Bonus

Friday, March 7th, 2008

Good new on the Casino Bonus front, corals have increased their monthly bonus from £25 to £50. March’s code is MOVIE50 and has a wagering reuirement of £1,250. I cleared it using a mixture of blackjack and JOB video poker finishing up a very healthy £114.

Coral’s Casino Bonus (Jan)

Tuesday, February 5th, 2008

I did this playing Blackjack at £2/hand and it went really well up +£65. The bonus code for Feb is SEINE. The old joke about what do you call a man who falls into the river in Paris has just popped into my head. I hope its not an omen.

Jan’s Casino Bonuses

Thursday, January 31st, 2008

Finished Littlewoods monthly bonus just in time ending up +£41.50. A cracking result. Up £16.50 from the £625 WR plus the £25 bonus.

Intercasino Comp Points

Thursday, January 3rd, 2008

Intercasino convert your comp points into dollars at the rate of 100/$ once you hit 2,000 points. I hit this during Dec so got an extra $20 added to my account. I don’t think I will be playing much here anymore. The 50x WR is too big for me.

Corals Monthly Casino Bonus

Friday, December 7th, 2007

I have been pretty fed up with Corals for a long time as the casino constantly crashes and the sports book takes so long to load. I tried Firefox rather than IE, this month and it was much better.

Dec’s bonus was the normal £25 free with a WR of £625. The code was CANAL. Up and down but finished £8.50 plus the £25 bonus, +£33.50.

Sporting Index £50 refund on Springo

Friday, December 7th, 2007

Sporting Index have relaunged Springo; their spread betting Bingo game and offered to refund upto £50 of any losses this weekend. They tried this game about a month ago but voided all the games for technical reasons. Now it is been fixed. I did nine small games “Draw to a Hit”, “Higher Than 3.2″ (losing 6, winning 3 times). Then one big one £39.60 which also lost. So down £49.83. I hope I get my money refunded on Monday.

If they can get mug punters to gamble on this, good luck to them. I thought it was the most pointless game I have ever seen.

Introduction to Video Poker

Wednesday, December 5th, 2007

PP gave me a £25 Blackjack friendly bonus last Sunday and I also deposited £75 for the Dec Platinum Club reload whilst I was there.

Unfortunately, this didn’t go well. I did about half the WR on Texas Bonus Holdem Players Suite, (a game I have always done well at in the past). Was down about £20 after £1,000 and decided to try “Jacks or Better” video poker.

I have always been put off this game in the past because of its high variance. But its return of 99.5% should mean that it is a better bet in the long run. However, I do have the bankroll to cope with this, so thought it was time for something new.

I used the intermediate strategy from “The Wizaed of Odds” as a guide and opened up the “Lucky Draw Jacks or Better” game. This plays 4 lines at once. They have a single line version but it isn’t Full Pay.

I actually quite enjoyed playing this and could picture myself in Vegas getting free drinks and hitting a massive Royal Flush jackpot.

At 20 coins of 5p you are playing for £1/spin so you get the the WR quite quickly.

Although I was new to the game I made too many mistakes. Twice I hit the “DRAW” button when I meant to hit “HOLD”. Both times I had three of a kind so ended up holding a small pair instead. This was very expensive because I missed out on the chance of quads or a full house which pays backs a significant pot.

For some reason I also found myself not playing correctly when I should have held QJs or JTs. I don’t know why, I just wasn’t thinking. Probably smaller sessions is the answer here, to keep my concentration going.

The intermediate strategy has a yield of 99.42% rather than 99.52% of the advanced one, not a significant difference but I finished down overall -£19. So a bit disappointing but I didn’t hit any Royals  or Straight Flushes.

In fact towards the end I was down an alarming amount when I had a nice spell including this for £25:

Flopped Four of a Kind

Looking at this image makes me realise just how bad my misclicks on those “Three of a Kind”s were. I lost as a minimum 8 sets of trips. Some of those would have boated up and some may even have turned into quads. If I had played these hands properly I may have escaped level.

So, an expensive lesson but I will try again next month. If you are disciplined this is a good weapon in any bonus hunters armoury.

One other feature to note is that PP’s casino has just undergone a major software upgrade. I am used to PP instantly crediting my a/c when I have finished the WR. That is the account balance in the game window goes up when the WR is finished. So I sometimes don’t bother to track my play here. This time my bonus got added to my casino a/c, not the “in play” balance. So I played more than necessary without realising.

I will leave it a couple of days before clearing the outstanding BJ bonus.

Paddy Power £10 Free

Tuesday, November 27th, 2007

I  had a free £10  added to my account by Paddy Power yesterday. The email hinted there were no play through requirements but I ran it through  “Deal or no Deal” once (10x£1) just to make sure. Hit the £10 box 4 times but still finished +£8.06.

Dear Xxxx, Username: XxxxThank you for taking the time to ‘Click for Cash‘!

I’ve done really well at Paddy Power’s casino this month. Sunday’s two 111% reloads (max £50 bonus so deposited £46×2) finished at +£107 and +£35 playing Texas Bonus Holdem. My run of  finishing ahead of expectation here continues. I will definitely make PP my casino of the month for December.

Promising Weekend Ahead

Friday, November 23rd, 2007

After England’s dismal performance midweek the focus returns to the domestic leagues. I already have one decent arb locked up. Ladbrokes shops are offering 11/10 on WBA v Wolves this Sunday. I rolled over a £300 winning coupon. Laid £313.44 on the -0.5 goals Asian Handicap market with 2% commission at 2.03. Looks like a profit of £7. 16 plus £4.50 in points on my “Odds-On”card.

Today’s Bet365 offer came up trumps with Cruising River winning in the 3.10 at Ascot (backed £50 at 6.00, laid £51.56 at 6.10) then I underlaid a loser in the next race for an overall profit of £35. I have just posted my detailed “step-by-step” guide to “Arbitrage Betting the Bet365 4/1+ Feature Race Offers” on my website.

Paddy Power have come up trumps with an email offering another two £50 casino reloads on Sunday. The same terms as last week, so no blackjack but Texas Holdem Bonus will be OK.

Betway gave me 10 free spins on their “Hitman” slot. This generated the grand total of 63cents of bonus cash. You can’t ever withdraw this so I used it on a couple of slot spins. Surprise, surprise no return.

Paddy Power’s Casino Reload

Wednesday, November 21st, 2007

I finished PP’s Sunday £75 reload bonus, playing Texas Holdem Bonus-Players Suite with an initial stake of 40p/hand. It took just under 5 hours. Finished +£83. Perhaps because of hands like these:

Texas Holdem Bonus Players Suite

Four of a Kind

Four of a Kind

I really enjoy this game - I only wish I could hit flops like these when I am on a final table.

I have done four of these bonuses and finished well up in all of them. I am beginning to wonder if Paddy has got the right software installed.
